I’ve gone by many names in my lifetime, but for the purposes of this blog I am Mathias. In my life I have found that change is the only constant, and this applies to all the elements in my life in one way or another, and I myself am in no way an exemption to this continuum. In my 21 years on this planet I have flipped my reality around many times with the help of meditation, the pursuit of knowledge, knowledge, music, the earth, the stars, the wonderful and diverse array of personalities in this world, the wonderful conversations I’ve had with some of these personalities, and by far knowing myself. This ongoing journey of realizing my true self has taken many unforeseen turns and has lead me to places both mentally, physically and metaphysically that I could have never imagined prior, and in turn I have enjoyed many epiphanies, realizations and changes in my reality. My relationship with music should not be overlooked for it has played a great role in my self-realization and has also lead me to study music composition at the university level. But just as I am a musician, I am many things: a thinker, a lover, an adventurer, a madman but most importantly, I am Mathias.
